Struggling to find high-quality, natural solutions, our founder turned to Madagascar’s powerful botanicals—like nutrient-rich Moringa oil and deeply hydrating plant extracts—to create products that keep curls healthy, moisturized, and defined.

As beautiful as Canada is, it can be harsh on hair — the dry and cold climate and high calcium levels in the water of some provinces can leave natural hair brittle and lifeless.
When I moved to Canada six years ago, I had naturally wavy hair, but as a new mom balancing work and life, my hair was not cooperating. Out of frustration, I decided to straighten it with chemical perms. It was costly, and within months, I realized my hair was losing its density, breaking, and my confidence was fading along with it.
Two years ago, instead of searching for another perm to keep my hair straight, I made a decision to find products that would help me love my natural texture again. I started testing different treatments and natural products, and when I finally found a combination that made my hair healthy, manageable, and beautiful, I knew I wanted to share it with others.
That’s when Vit’Avana was born. My husband and I chose the name “Vit” means Life and in the malagasy language “Avana” means Second Chance, a reflection of my journey to give my hair a second chance to live again.
Just like the rainbow God placed in the sky as a sign of His promise to Noah, a promise of renewal and hope Vit’Avana carries that same message for every woman.
